签署战略合作协议

加快海装风电“走出去”步伐 

2016年11月16日，在中船重工集团公司总经理孙波和美国爱荷华州州长Terry Branstad的共同见证下，海装风电董事长孙建中与爱荷华州经济发展局局长Debi Durham分别代表双方签署了战略合作协议。

在座谈上，中船重工集团公司总经理孙波表示，风电产业是中船重工非船领域重点发展的产业之一，在爱荷华州政府的支持下，近年来中船重工在该州各项业务特别是风电产业运行发展顺利、前景十分广阔。爱荷华州与中国的友谊源远流长，中船重工十分重视双方的合作，将继续加大项目投资力度，推动有关产业快速发展。希望以此次战略合作协议签署为新契机，进一步深化与爱荷华州的交流沟通，不断拓展合作的深度和广度，共同为中美友谊和双方携手发展作出积极努力。

Chinese turbine manufacturer HZ Windpower plans to be in the US market for the long haul, according to Kurtis Sherer, the chief executive of the company’s Iowa-based unit.

NEVADA, IA. — Folks here were happy enough when HZ Windpower of Chong-qing, China, dedicated two 2-megawatt wind turbines Wednesday, but the locals have their eye on a much bigger prize.

HZ is looking for a site in the U.S. to build blades, towers and other components for wind energy. Nevada, whose motto is “Where Renewable Energy is Happening,” thinks it is just the spot for an HZ plant and laid out a welcoming lunch for the company’s officials at Indian Creek Country Club.

NEVADA — A delegation from the Chinese company HZ Windpower helped dedicate two wind turbines it built during a ceremony Wednesday in a field southwest of Nevada.

The blades on the 260-foot towers were steadily rotating in a stiff breeze as more than a dozen representatives of the company, its U.S. division Goodwind Energy, and local officials looked on.
